A Glossary of some of the more "out there" terms I like to use

These definitions are mainly a combination of good ol Google search results & my own interpretations/understandings ~ fun fact: most of these terms are newer to me as well!
Consciousness / Divinity / God / Great Spirit / Source / Universe
Here is where words really are hindering. There really is no apt description available, at least not that words can convey; the closest possible definition I can scrawl out is Love. Pure, pure Love <3
Dark night of the Soul
A centuries-old term with renewed meaning; there is so much I would like to describe here but as briefly as my loquaciousness will allow...I understand the dark night as a period of one's life (sometimes more than one) marked by tremendous difficulty, loneliness, helplessness and/or despair, having significant impact on your life's arc. I feel this term much differently than I feel other challenging periods such as "depression" or "grief," though one or both might accompany one's dark night. At the end of this dark night is Light ~ the Soul, Divinity, God, Source -- Love <3
Gaia / Mother Gaia / Mama Gaia
A term derived from ancient Greek as the personification of the ultimate "Mother" herself (who, assuredly, has her own consciousness/wisdom/Light) ~ our home: the incredible and amazing planet Earth <3
NDE
Abbreviation for "near-death-experience" <3
Seer
One who sees through Spiritual eyes ~ my understanding is that there is a biblical origin of the word that more directly relates to Prophets and prophecy, but here on CCSeer I use this term more generously to be within reach for all of us. I was first introduced to this term through my favorite Tarot deck, the Lightseers Tarot <3
Light
A broad stroke term I've come to use as the ultimate expression of Love, the purest most truest concept/thing/experience/being of anything there is <3
Light-being or Light body
Most basically, our Soul; our highest selves/consciousness on the other side and/or the highest consciousness/energy of other galactic beings/energies <3
Materialism
A branch of *philosophy* applied to today's modern, popularly accepted scientific approach and method. This philosophy assumes and asserts that every single thing in the entire Universe, including consciousness, is made of or produced by matter explicitly. *The implication of this kind of strict interpretation is that anything that cannot be measured materially in some kind of fashion either does not exist or is anti- or pseudo- science, thus being dismissed without room for further exploration or research <3
Crossed over
"Passed away," "passed on," "died," "departed," "expired" <3
Meat-body
A perhaps not-so-tactful slang term for our human bodies, insinuating the separation of our consciousness from even the housing of our physical brain <3
Shadow
NOT to be confused with "evil," rather, something that is not the highest expression of Light/Love, but to be seen as a stepping-stone on the journey to get to your highest self/on your highest path. (For funsies, I'm not entirely sure I understand if there is such a thing as "evil" anymore, but that's an entirely different pondering for many, many meditations to come) <3
Transmute
An alchemical shift that transforms energy -- our own or otherwise -- from a shadowed state into a Light(er) state, achieved through varied means such as meditation, realization, contemplation, healing practices, etc.
